This wine is Ross Hill’s shiraz from the Orange region in Australia. It’s a new release from this producer and is a high quality wine. Shiraz from this region combines warmth in fruit flavour, with some cooler climate expressions of pepper and spicy fruit. It is cooler than the Hunter Valley, and not dissimilar to Canberra styles of shiraz. From the 2024 vintage, this wine has aromas green capsicum, spice and blackberries.
