This is a very good sauvignon blanc from Ross Hill in Orange and the 2025 vintage. This region produces European style wines, and this wine presents as somewhere between a Loire Valley Touraine and new wave New Zealand sauvignon blanc in its style. There are subtle aromas of gooseberry and bread characters. The palate has a medium body and a lovely bready texture, likely from time on lees, and refreshing acidity on the finish. This is a top expression of sauvignon blanc suitable for current drinking. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points). Source: Sample. Website: Ross Hill Wines. Tasted: August 2026.
