Bowen Estate Shiraz Review

Bowen Estate Shiraz 2004 Review

This wine review is of Bowen Estate’s shiraz from the 2004 vintage.  From Coonawarra in Australia, the wine has matured gracefully.  For a wine that was less than $30 on release, it has remarkable longevity and quality.  The wine has complex mature shiraz aromas of leather, game, deli meats and eucalyptus leaf mulch.  The palate is medium bodied and it has savoury and spicy characters. There is medium to long length on the finish.  Drink now. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points). Website: Bowen Estate. Tasted: July 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
