Bowen Shiraz Review

Bowen Estate Shiraz 2011 Review

This wine is Bowen Estate’s shiraz from the 2011 vintage in Coonawarra, Australia.  Shiraz from Coonawarra, a region better known for cabernet sauvignon, also ages very well and provides a good value option. The wine is holding on, just.  The 2011 vintage has aromas of spice and red fruits.  The palate is full bodied and has a fully mature, earthy character. It lacks a little intensity on the finish. Drink up. Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points). Website: Bowen Estate. Tasted: September 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
