Bowen Estate Shiraz Review

Bowen Estate Shiraz 2018 Review

This wine review is of Bowen Estate’s 2018 shiraz from Coonawarra in South Australia.  Coonawarra is better known for cabernet sauvignon, but the region also produces good quality shiraz.  The 2018 vintage has aromas of sweet red plum jam.  The palate is full bodied and the tannins are soft.  Jam characters continue with the addition of spice.  The finish has between medium and long length. Drink now. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 88 points). Website: Bowen Estate. Tasted: June 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
