Bass Phillip Pinot Noir Review

Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir 2021 Review

This is an interesting Bass Phillip pinot noir from the 2021 vintage. Bass Phillip, the leading Gippsland producer, is now owned by a syndicate including Burgundy producer, Jean-Marie Fourrier.  The wine has aromas of broody red fruits.  The palate is medium bodied with raspberry and rose like characters predominant. There is a subtle spritz character, surprising in a 4 year old wine.  This wine is ready to drink now and should drink well over the next 5 to 6 years.  Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 88 points). Website: Bass Phillip . Tasted: July 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
