From micro producer Utter, this is a delicious syrah labelled as “Riverhouse”. It’s from Buxton near the Yarra Valley in Australia, the 2021 vintage and the Upper Goulburn wine region. The wine has very distinctive cool climate aromas of ground pepper. The palate is medium bodied, with predominant pepper and spice flavours. The wine finishes with harmony and good length.
