Schild Estate Three Springs Review

Schild Estate Three Springs Shiraz 2021 Review

This is an outstanding shiraz from Schild Estate in the Barossa Valley. The vineyard for this wine is located in Rowland Flat, south of Tanunda. Labelled as the “Three Springs”, the wine is a rich and generous shiraz in the traditional Barossa style. The 2021 vintage has brooding aromas of dark plums and mulberries, with some dried herbs tucked underneath. The palate is full bodied, rich, deep and intense. Dark fruit and cedar characters fortify its generous length on the finish. You can drink this wine now. Nonetheless it should improve for another decade and have a drinking window into the 2040s. The alcohol is 14.5%. Review Rating: Outstanding (★★★★★, 95 points). Website: Schild Estate. Source: Sample. Tasted: March 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
