This is a very typical Beaujolais from Louis Latour and certainly a terroir wine. It’s a Beaujolais-Villages from the 2023 vintage. The wine has aromas of redcurrants and raspberries. The palate is crisp and linear, with red fruits and a stoney, firm character. This wine falls into the category of austere expressions of gamay, and is a good example of it. It is ready to drink now.
