Wild Duck Creek Spring Flat Shiraz Review

Wild Duck Creek Spring Flat Shiraz 2019 Review

Wild Duck Creek Estate produce fruit driven, rich styles from Heathcote in Victoria, Australia.  In Heathcote, the shiraz styles are bookended by Syrahmi at one end and Wild Duck Creek Estate at the other. The 2019 vintage of the “Spring Flat” shiraz has pure and brooding aromas of blackcurrants and plums.  The palate is densely fruited, velvety and its 15.1% alcohol is in balance.  Medium length on the finish completes the picture.  Drink this brooding wine over the next decade. If you enjoy this style, you may enjoy this wine from Schild Estate. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 89 points). Website: Wild Duck Creek Estate. Tasted: June 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
