Parish Pinot Gris Review

Parish Vineyards Pinot Gris 2024 Tasmania

From Parish Vineyards in Evandale in southern Tasmania, this is a very light cool climate expression of pinot gris. It is a style more commonly seen in New Zealand, Oregon or Washington State than Australia.  It’s quite an interesting wine.  In the glass, the wine has aromas of pear and spiced pear compote.  The palate is mostly dry with reminders of red apple.  This light bodied pinot gris is ready to drink now.  Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points).
