Pitchfork Cabernet Merlot Review

Pitchfork Cabernet Merlot 2022 Review

From the Pitchfork label in the Margaret River in Australia and the 2022 vintage, this wine is good value. A blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot, its quality is above its price on this tasting.  It is a deep colour in the glass.  The wine has aromas of clove and blackcurrant. Its palate is medium bodied with firm tannins, together with dark fruit and bay leaf characters.  It has fruit intensity and good length on the finish.  This wine is ready to drink now.  Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 89 points).
