Yabby Lake Pinot Noir

Yabby Lake Pinot Noir 2013 Review

From the Mornington Peninsula and the “down the hill” in its Moorooduc sub region, this is an outstanding pinot noir from Yabby Lake.  The particular wine reviewed is the “single block release”. It has a Burgundian, Volnay like style.  Florals, red roses and an expressive, evocative aroma.  Its palate is medium bodied, velvety and spicey.  In its drinking prime.  World class pinot noir from the Mornington Peninsula.  Rating: Outstanding (★★★★★, 96 points). Website: Yabby Lake. Tasted: April 2023.
