Lake’s Folly produce an outstanding cabernet sauvignon blend from the warm Hunter Valley in Australia. It is typically a rich wine, but is not overripe. It’s not entirely dissimilar to a traditional Napa Valley cabernet style. The 2018 vintage has aromas of blackcurrants and dark fruit. The palate has reminders of vanilla, soft dark fruit and is full bodied. The tannins are ripe and supple, and not particularly noticeable. Drink this attractive wine over the next decade.
