This wine is Yalumba’s “The Signature” cabernet sauvignon and shiraz blend from the 2022 vintage. It is a wine of tradition and the 2022 is its 51st vintage. Cabernet sauvignon and shiraz is the traditional South Australian red blend. The wine has aromas of eucalyptus, menthol, spice and dark fruits. The palate is full bodied with pleasing, firm tannins providing structure to its dark fruited and spicy core. The fruit through the mid palate is ripe and supple. Flavours of menthol and eucalyptus provide their regional stamp. The finish is long. This is a top wine that can be approached now.
