Shelter Winery Spätburgunder Review

Shelter Winery Spätburgunder 2021 Review

From Baden in Germany, this is a youthful and primary expression of pinot noir.  It has aromas of fresh cherries, spice and red fruits.  The palate is crisp, medium bodied, minerally and has trademark German high acidity.  The alcohol is a modest 12.5%. Drink now and over the next 3 to 4 years.  Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points). Website: Shelter Winery. Tasted: May 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
