This wine is the La Boheme pinot noir from Elk Cove in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It’s very good. There are youthful aromas of potpourri, red plums and roses. The palate has dominant redcurrant and cherry characters, framed by crisp, high acidity. Give this youthful wine 2 to 3 years in the cellar to soften before drinking it over the next decade. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points). Website: Elk Cove Vineyards. Tasted: August 2025. Like: Subscribe.
