This wine is a tempranillo from Capa and is from the La Tierra de Castilla region in Spain and the 2024 vintage. Tempranillo is a serious grape variety capable of a range of expressions. This wine is a fruit forward expression of it. In the glass, there are aromas of raisins and dark plums. The palate is full bodied and the fruit sweet and juicy but in a European kind of way. Served chilled in this case in the Australian tropics, this is a very gluggable and good value tempranillo wine that is suitable for current drinking. Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points).
