This is a good dry rosé from De Bortoli, the “La Boheme” label and the 2025 vintage. De Bortoli produce quite a wide range of wines, and with one exception, all of their leading wines are made in the cool climate Yarra Valley. The exception is their at times superlative and always very good “Noble One” botrytis semillon. That wine is from the inland and hot Riverina region. For an example of its capability, see the 1982 vintage of the Noble One reviewed here. Returning to this wine, the 2025 De Bortoli La Boheme rosé from the Yarra Valley has aromas of peach, orange and florals. The palate is medium-bodied, has stone fruit characters and finishes dry. It proves enjoyable whether or not chilled. This is a well made rosé that provides good value for money. Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points). Website: De Bortoli Family Winemakers. Tasted: September 2026.
