Domaine Epis produce some very good pinot noir in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It’s a cool climate style. The 2005 vintage, tasted at 20 years’ of age, has slightly funky aromas of spice, herbs, bacon and cinnamon. The palate is medium bodied and supported by medium-high acidity. The alcohol is a modest 12.9%. This vintage is at its peak and I would not age it longer. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 89 points). Website: Domaine Epis. Tasted: September 2025.
