This is an interesting sparkling riesling from Stefan Winter. It’s from the Rheinhessen region in Germany. The wine has an aroma of sour lemon and unripe apple. It’s a little reductive initially, but this disappears. The palate is dry, and finishes with sour tangy apples and fresh acidity.
