Freixenet Grand Seleccion Cava Review

Freixenet Grand Seleccion Cava Review

Cava is the traditional Spanish sparkling wine and Freixenet is a leading Cava house.  This wine appears varietal initially with some apple characters. It settles to aromas of stones, minerals and a little honey.  The palate is light to medium bodied and has light, fine acidity.  There are some biscuit lees characters for the observant.  The alcohol is a modest 11.5%.  Drink now.  Review Rating: Acceptable to Good (★★☆, 84 points). Website: Freixenet. Tasted: April 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
