This is a very good Beaujolais Villages from Lucien Lardy. From the 2022 vintage and described as “vieilles vignes” (old vines), it has a classical style. It aromas remind of red fruits and stones. The palate is red fruited and savoury, supplemented by fresh stone and mineral characters. This is a step above a typical Beaujolais Villages. Drink now. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points).
