From the mixed 2017 Bordeaux vintage, this is an excellent wine from Pichon Comtesse Lalande in Pauillac. It’s labelled as the “Reserve”, and is this producer’s second wine. From a 375ml bottle, this wine has savoury aromas and blackcurrant and cedar. It is the palate however that distinguishes. It has long length and silky tannins emerge with time in the glass.
