This is an outstanding wine from Château Montrose and the 2015 vintage. It is a substantial step up from the recently reviewed, and very enjoyable, 2017 vintage of this estate’s second wine. See La Dame de Montrose. The 2015 Château Montrose has aromas that are elegant, reminding of pencils, blackberry, blackcurrant and cedar. The palate is silky with long length framing its medium body and savoury finish. This wine is drinking well now.
