This wine is produced by Cave de Tain and labelled as “Les 3 Lys”. It’s a Crozes-Hermitage blanc, which means it’s a blend of marsanne and roussanne. Crozes Hermitage is much more typically seen on shelves in its red syrah guise. There has been however a recent increase in interest in the white wines of the Rhône Valley. This wine has a floral and lemon aroma. There’s also a little apricot, giving an almost semi aromatic style. The palate has a full body and rounded edges. This is a sound wine that will suit current drinking. Review Rating: Good (★★★, 86 points). Website: Cave de Tain. Tasted: January 2025. Like: Subscribe.
