Guigal’s wines are almost always a sound choice. The 2020 vintage of their Crozes-Hermitage syrah from the Rhône Valley has aromas of spices and herbs. Pepper emerges with time. The palate has plum and camphor characters and a full body. The finish is rounded, with some heat and spice. Drink now and over the remainder of the decade.
