Black Estate Damsteep Pinot Noir 2020

From Canterbury in New Zealand, this pinot noir is particularly deeply coloured. It has a sappy aroma, while its palate is medium bodied, red fruited and has some oak characters in the form of cloves.  But it mostly expresses crisp red fruits and tart red raspberries.  The alcohol is 13.5.  Drink now.  Rating: Good (★★★☆, 88 points).
