This wine review is of a lovely poised riesling from Shaw Wines, the Eden Valley and the 2022 vintage. It has steel, lemon and lime aromas. Its palate has high acidity, a light body and low alcohol (12.5). (Very) lemon and jasmine characters complete the picture. Interestingly enough, jasmine is a character I often associate with Canberra riesling, whereas Shaw in the Canberra region have sourced these grapes from the Eden Valley after some challenging local vintages.
