Langwerth von Simmern Kabinett Riesling 2007

One thousand odd reviews on the site, and the first from Rheingau.  This riesling is golden in colour, with quite pungent aromatics of peach and apricot and coupled with a honeyed character.  I almost suspect there’s a little botrytis there too.  Its palate is off dry, with medium to high acid, medium length, a gentle petillance and honey flavours.  This good quality riesling is ready to drink now, and over the next 5 years or so, and shows some complexity and interest for its price.  Good
