I tasted this wine in a blind line up as part of a WSET diploma tasting session with Meg Brodtmann MW. A bright ruby in colour, it aromatics were mostly clean (a touch of brett perhaps) with a medium to pronounced intensity expression of earth, redcurrants, spices, green peppercorn, cedar at the back, and the wine is developing.
On the palate, the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium to high tannins, and is quite peppery, with notes of plums, thyme/garrigue, medium to long length and a savoury edge. Overall, this is a very good wine due to its balance and savoury edge. It seemed to grow length in the glass; usually a good sign. Good
