Arnaud Lambert Brézé Midi Saumur Blanc 2022 Review

Arnaud Lambert Brézé Midi Saumur Blanc 2022 Review

This wine is from top producer Arnaud Lambert in Saumur and the Loire Valley in France and labelled as “Brézé”.  There are two main white grape varieties in the Loire Valley, sauvignon blanc and chenin blanc. In this region, these varieties are united by high crisp acidity but distinguished by entirely different aroma and flavour profiles. While this doesn’t appear on the label, Saumur Blanc is made from chenin blanc.  The wine has typical chenin aromas of stone and wool.  The palate is medium bodied and freshened by high acidity.  Good length on the finish confirms this as a high quality wine to look out for. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points). Website: Arnaud Lambert. Tasted: June 2026.  Like: Subscribe.
