This is an exceptional 2006 vintage Champagne from Pommery. Labelled as the Cuvée Louise, this is Pommery’s pinnacle release. The wine has aromas of butter, clarified butter and toast. The palate has a supple character with long length, flavours reminding of pastry and toast and a lovely fine mousse. It is not an intellectual exercise to identify the very high quality of this wine.
