This is a top Rioja Reserva from Bodegas Remirez de Ganuza and labelled as “Fincas de Ganuza”. It has aromas of earth, coconut, vanilla and savoury, dried fruit cake. The palate continues these characters, and finishes with long, savoury length and is edgeless. If you are less familiar with Rioja Reserva and Gran Reserva styles, they can have a similar profile to aged, oaked Bordeaux. This wine is ready to drink now and should age for a further 10 years.
