Château Cantemerle Review

Château Cantemerle 2017 Review

This wine is from Château Cantemerle, the Haut Médoc and the 2017 vintage.  2017 is a modest Bordeaux vintage which has lent in this case to a classic claret style wine.  It has restrained aromas of pencil lead and blackcurrant.  The palate is medium bodied, the tannins are mid range and the wine finishes on a savoury note.  Drink this lovely wine over the next 5 to 8 years. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 88 points). Website: Château Cantemerle. Tasted: July 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
