Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Review

This wine is Moss Wood’s Ribbon Vale cabernet sauvignon from the 2020 vintage.  I typically see this wine as a more affordable, high quality substitute for Moss Wood’s top wine. The 2020 vintage is very good if just a little plain.  It has aromas of leaf, herbs and savoury blackcurrants. The palate is medium bodied with sweet blackcurrant fruit.  There isn’t a lot of tannic grip, and wine finishes with medium length.  Drink over the next 5 or so years. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 88 points). Website: Moss Wood. Tasted: June 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
