Pichon Baron Longueville Review

Château Pichon Baron Longueville 2019 Review

This wine review is of Château Pichon Baron Longueville’s 2019 vintage.  2019 is proving to be an outstanding vintage for left bank Bordeaux.  It is too early to drink this wine, but it is nonetheless a pleasure to do so.  Deeply coloured, the 2019 Pichon Baron has aromas of ripe blackcurrants and cedar.  The palate is perfectly poised, with its ripe but not overripe fruit, tannins and blackcurrant flavours in harmony.  It finishes with long length and brooding power and finesse.  Drink over the next 20 or more years.  Review Rating: Outstanding (★★★★★, 95 points).
