This wine is Denis Durantou’s “Saintayme”, a Saint Emilion Grand Cru from the 2020 vintage. It is very good. Deeply coloured in the glass, it has aromas of cedar and blackcurrant. The palate is medium to full bodied with savoury dark fruits supported by firm tannins. This good value wine is ready to drink now and over the next decade.
