This is an excellent left bank Bordeaux from Château Tour Haut-Caussan in the Médoc. From the outstanding 2005 vintage and in its drinking prime nearly 20 years’ later, the wine opens to aromas of cigar box and blackcurrants. The palate is medium bodied. The key distinguishing mark of this wine is its prodigiously long length and depth of flavour. This wine is comfortably of cru classé quality and is ready to drink.
