This is a second expression of Angullong chardonnay from the Orange region and the 2022 vintage. The first expression is Angullong’s “Fossil Hill” chardonnay, which is reviewed here. This wine, a little cheaper than its sibling at $24, is a good wine as well. It has saline with lemon and nutty aromas. The palate has a delicate acid line, a Chablis like oyster shell character and modest alcohol at 12.5. This minerally wine will suit current drinking. Rating: Good (★★★☆, 89 points).
