Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet 2019

An affordable wine at $14 per bottle, the 2019 vintage of Penfolds’ Koonunga Hill shiraz cabernet has initial confectionary aromas that give way to notes of spice, red stewed plums and a little pepper. The palate is spicy and finishes with soft tannins and a warming finish.  Overall, there is value here at $14, a price point not weighed down with good options.
