Angullong Sauvignon Blanc 2019 Wine Review

This wine review is of Angullong’s sauvignon blanc from the 2019 vintage in the Orange wine region. Year in, year out Angullong produce a very good, European style restrained and varietal sauvignon blanc. It presents cogent support for the view that Orange is one of Australia’s better regions for this grape variety. In the glass, the wine is aromatic (reminding of herbs and lemon), dry, unoaked, medium bodied, moderate in alcohol (12.5) and has high razor like acidity and a pleasant finish. Ready to drink now, this is good drinking. Rating: Good. Website: Angullong; Wine Searcher. Source: Sample. Reviewed: January 2021.
