d’Arenberg d’Arry’s Original Shiraz Grenache McLaren Vale 2014

d’Arenberg continues to release economically priced and good shiraz grenache blends under its “d’Arry’s Original” label.  The 2014 vintage has aromas of pepper, olive and spice.  The palate is full bodied, with some tannins noticeable, good length and highish acidity.  Looking over my notes I preferred the 2012 and 2013, but nonetheless found the 2014 pleasant drinking.  (Region: McLaren Vale, Rating: Good, Drink: now to 2020, Tasted: August, 2017, Source: Sample)
