Ross Hill Pinnacle Series Pinot Gris 2013

This pinot gris from Ross Hill is grown at an altitude of 1,015 metres in the Orange region in New South Wales.  As might be expected, its aromatics are lean with restrained notes of stones, wet wool and lees like characters that weren’t entirely attractive.  The palate is better, with linear length and fine boned stone fruit and lemon flavours.
