Rymill Gewurtztraminer 2013

I don’t think I’ve seen before a gewurtztraminer from Coonawarra.  The result is quite a likeable wine.  It has fresh fruited lychee characteristics – a say “fresh” lychee quite deliberately as it doesn’t resemble the more spicy and intense Alsace versions.  The palate is balanced with similar lychee flavours carrying through and low acidity.  Overall, this is a fresh and enjoyable wine.
