Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Caymus Vineyards have produced a very good cabernet sauvignon here from the Napa Valley.  It has aromatics reminding of brooding pencil lead, blackcurrant and blackberry.  The palate has flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and restrained cedar wood.  It has delicious tannins that are round and ripe, and these are accompanied by long length.  This outstanding wine is ready to drink now and over the next decade.  Outstanding
