This wine is from Shadowfax, and the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It’s very tightly wound at this stage, consistent with youthful Macedon pinot noir. There are aromas of herbs, potpourri and sweet red fruit. The palate has very high acid, with a green edge to it. Clove characters contribute.
