Curly Flat Pinot Noir Review

Curly Flat Pinot Noir 2023 Review

Curly Flat are a top pinot noir producer from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia.  The Macedon Ranges produce some of Australia’s most serious pinot noir.  The 2023 vintage has a light, pretty fragrance of florals and raspberry. The palate is almost light bodied, with stone and mineral characters.  The wine finishes with elegant, lingering length and a youthful spritz.  There’s some missing intensity through the mid palate, attributable to a cooler vintage and its 12.5% alcohol. This wine is approachable now.   Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points). Website: Curly Flat. Tasted: August 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
