Maison Alexandrins Hermitage Review

Maison Les Alexandrins Hermitage 2021 Review

This is a very good Hermitage from Maison Les Alexandrins and the 2021 vintage.  It has aromas that remind initially of sweet, but not yet ripe, red plums. With aeration, these characters are joined by herbs, camphor, cracked pepper and clove.  The palate is medium bodied and fresh acidity supports plum and Christmas cake flavours.  The wine finishes with long length.  This Hermitage can be approached now, but will benefit from 3 to 5 years of ageing. Drink over the following decade. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points). Website: NA.  Tasted: May 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
