Jean-Paul’s Vineyard Shiraz Review

Jean-Paul’s Vineyard Shiraz 2018 Review

This is another very good vintage of Jean-Paul’s shiraz from the hilly region south of Yea.  It has gentle, savoury aromatics of earth, vanilla, spice and Christmas cake.  The palate has a sweet plum fruit core supported by moderate tannins and modest alcohol of 12.5% for shiraz.  It finishes with medium to long length and is ready to drink now.  Micro producer Jean-Paul’s Vineyard deserves a wide audience with this level of quality.  Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points).
